Transliteration

dama dāna dayā kṣāṃti śauceṃdriya vinigrahāḥ | asteya satyāhiṃsāśca sarveṣāṃ dharmahetavaḥ

Translation

దమము, దానము, దయ, క్షమ, శౌచము, ఇంద్రియనిగ్రహము; అలాగే అస్తేయము, సత్యము, అహింస—ఇవే అందరికీ ధర్మాన్ని నిలుపు కారణాలు।
