ఆ మహాకాయులు గరుడుని, గాలిని తలపించే వేగంతో శిలలను సమీకరించి కలిపారు. నలుడు నదీనదీపతి అయిన సముద్ర మధ్యలో మహాసేతువును నిర్మించాడు.
