अपत्यविक्रयात्कल्पं वसेद्विट्कृमिभोजने । अतो नाण्वपि कन्याया उपजीव्यं नरैर्धनम्

Transliteration

apatyavikrayātkalpaṃ vasedviṭkṛmibhojane | ato nāṇvapi kanyāyā upajīvyaṃ narairdhanam

Translation

సంతానాన్ని అమ్మినవాడు మలాన్ని తినే పురుగుల లోకంలో ఒక కల్పకాలం నివసిస్తాడు. అందువల్ల కన్యా ‘ధర’ వల్ల వచ్చిన ధనాన్ని అణుమాత్రమైనా జీవనాధారంగా చేసుకోరాదు.
