व्यास उवाच । कलौ प्राप्ते द्विजाः सर्वे स्थानभ्रष्टा यतस्ततः । पक्षमुत्कलं ग्रहीष्यंति तथा स्युः पक्षपातिनः
vyāsa uvāca | kalau prāpte dvijāḥ sarve sthānabhraṣṭā yatastataḥ | pakṣamutkalaṃ grahīṣyaṃti tathā syuḥ pakṣapātinaḥ
వ్యాసుడు పలికెను—కలియుగం వచ్చినప్పుడు సమస్త ద్విజులు ఎక్కడికక్కడ తమ స్థానాల నుండి చ్యుతులవుతారు. వారు వర్గాలు (పక్షాలు) పట్టుకొని, అలా పక్షపాతులవుతారు.
