शासनं चेन्न दृष्टं वो नैव तत्पालयाम्यहम् । द्विजाः कोपसमाविष्टा ददुः प्रत्युत्तरं तदा
śāsanaṃ cenna dṛṣṭaṃ vo naiva tatpālayāmyaham | dvijāḥ kopasamāviṣṭā daduḥ pratyuttaraṃ tadā
మీరు ఆ శాసనాన్ని (అధికారాన్ని) చూడకపోతే, నేను దానిని పాటించను. ఇది విని కోపావేశంతో ఉన్న ద్విజులు అప్పుడు ప్రత్యుత్తరం ఇచ్చారు.
