Transliteration

na dadāti kadā dānamevaṃ kālaḥ pravartate | labdhaśāsanakā viprā luptasvāmyā aharniśam

Translation

ఎవరూ ఎప్పుడూ దానం చేయరు; ఇట్లా కాలప్రవాహం సాగింది. శాసనశిక్ష కలిగిన విప్రులు కూడా పగలు-రాత్రి ఆశ్రయదాతలేని స్థితిలో ఉన్నారు.
