व्यास उवाच । अतः परं प्रवक्ष्यामि ब्रह्मणा यत्कृतं पुरा । तत्सर्वं कथयाम्यद्य शृणुष्वैकाग्रमानसः

Transliteration

vyāsa uvāca | ataḥ paraṃ pravakṣyāmi brahmaṇā yatkṛtaṃ purā | tatsarvaṃ kathayāmyadya śṛṇuṣvaikāgramānasaḥ

Translation

వ్యాసుడు పలికెను—ఇకపై పురాతనకాలంలో బ్రహ్మ చేసిన కార్యాన్ని నేను వివరిస్తాను. ఈ రోజు అది అంతటినీ చెబుతాను; ఏకాగ్రచిత్తంతో వినుము।
