Narrator addressing a king (rājendra)
Tirtha: Indreśvara / Jayaṃteśa
Type: temple
Listener: A king (addressed as rājendra)
Scene: A solemn proclamation to the king: the merit of Indreśvara is attained by worshiping Jayaṃteśa; the narrator raises a hand in oath-like emphasis (‘satyaṃ satyaṃ’), while the liṅga shrine glows in the background.
Worship offered at a consecrated liṅga shares in the full merit of the greater tīrtha-deity it represents.
The Jayaṃteśa liṅga within the Indreśvara sacred complex of Dharmāraṇya.
Pūjā (worship) of Jayaṃteśa, stated to confer the same puṇya as Indreśvara worship.
