purāṇamakhilaṃ tāta purā te'dhītavānpitā | kaccittvayāpi tatsarvamadhītaṃ lomaharṣaṇe

ప్రియ తాతా! పూర్వం నీ తండ్రి సమస్త పురాణాన్ని అధ్యయనం చేశాడు. ఓ లోమహర్షణా! నీవు కూడా అది అంతా పూర్తిగా అధ్యయనం చేశావా?
