तस्मादपींद्रसेनाख्यस्तस्य पुत्रो महाबलः । चंद्रांगदोस्मि नाम्नाहं नवोढः श्वशुरालये । विहरन्यमुनातोये निमग्नो देवचोदितः
tasmādapīṃdrasenākhyastasya putro mahābalaḥ | caṃdrāṃgadosmi nāmnāhaṃ navoḍhaḥ śvaśurālaye | viharanyamunātoye nimagno devacoditaḥ
“ఆయనకు ఇంద్రసేనుడు అనే మహాబలవంతుడైన కుమారుడు జన్మించాడు. నేను అతని కుమారుడను—నా పేరు చంద్రాంగద. కొత్తగా వివాహమై మామగారి ఇంట ఉండగా, యమునా జలాల్లో విహరిస్తూ దేవప్రేరణచేత నేను మునిగిపోయాను।”
