शोकात्केचिदुरो जघ्नुः शिरो जघ्नुश्च केचन । हा राजपुत्र हा तात क्वासि क्वासीति बभ्रमुः
śokātkeciduro jaghnuḥ śiro jaghnuśca kecana | hā rājaputra hā tāta kvāsi kvāsīti babhramuḥ
శోకంతో కొందరు తమ ఛాతీని కొట్టుకున్నారు, మరికొందరు తలపై కొట్టుకున్నారు. ‘హా రాజకుమార! హా ప్రియ బిడ్డా! నీవెక్కడ—ఎక్కడ?’ అని విలపిస్తూ వారు వ్యాకులంగా తిరిగారు.
