dhūpadānena saugaṃdhyaṃ kāṃtirdīpapradānataḥ | naivedyaiśca mahābhogo lakṣmīstāṃbūladānataḥ

ధూపదానముచేత సుగంధి లభిస్తుంది; దీపదానముచేత కాంతి కలుగుతుంది. నైవేద్యముచేత మహాభోగం, తాంబూలదానముచేత లక్ష్మీ—సంపద—లభిస్తుంది.
