शिशुमेनं समुद्धृत्य पुष्णाम्यौरसवद्ध्रुवम् । किं त्वविज्ञातकुलजं नोत्सहे स्प्रष्टुमुत्तमम्
śiśumenaṃ samuddhṛtya puṣṇāmyaurasavaddhruvam | kiṃ tvavijñātakulajaṃ notsahe spraṣṭumuttamam
ఈ శిశువును ఎత్తుకొని నిశ్చయంగా నా స్వంత కుమారుడిలా పోషిస్తాను. కానీ తెలియని కులంలో పుట్టిన ఈ ఉత్తమ బాలుణ్ని తాకడానికి నాకు ధైర్యం రావడం లేదు.
