शबर उवाच । धर्मार्थकाममोक्षाणां देहः परमसाधनम् । कथं त्यजसि तं देहं सुखार्थं नवयौवनम्

Transliteration

śabara uvāca | dharmārthakāmamokṣāṇāṃ dehaḥ paramasādhanam | kathaṃ tyajasi taṃ dehaṃ sukhārthaṃ navayauvanam

Translation

శబరుడు పలికెను: ధర్మ, అర్థ, కామ, మోక్షములకు దేహమే పరమ సాధనము. నవయవ్వనంతో కూడిన ఆ శరీరాన్ని సుఖం కోసం నీవు ఎలా త్యాగం చేస్తున్నావు?
