Transliteration bhū́tāya tvā nā́rātaye svar-abhí-vikhyéṣaṃ dṛ́ṃhantāṃ dúryāḥ pṛthivyā́m urv àntárikṣam ánvemi pṛthivyā́s tvā nā́bhau sādayāmy ádityā upásthe ’gne havyáṃ rakṣa
Translation భూత (స్థిర/ప్రతిష్ఠిత సత్త) కొరకు నిన్ను స్థాపిస్తున్నాను; శత్రు పురుషులను త్రిప్పికొట్టుటకు; స్వర్గీయ కాంతి వైపు నిన్ను ప్రకటిస్తున్నాను. భూమిపై నివాసాలు దృఢమగుగాక. విశాల అంతరిక్షాన్ని నేను క్రమంగా అనుసరిస్తున్నాను. భూమి నాభిలో, అదితి ఒడిలో, నిన్ను కూర్చోబెడుతున్నాను. ఓ అగ్నీ, హవ్యాన్ని (హవి) రక్షించు.
