पाशुपतव्रतविधिः | The Procedure of the Supreme Pāśupata Vow

विभृज्यांगानि मूर्धादिचरणांतानि तैस्स्पृशेत् । ततस्तेन क्रमेणैव समुद्धृत्य च भस्मना

Transliteration

vibhṛjyāṃgāni mūrdhādicaraṇāṃtāni taisspṛśet | tatastena krameṇaiva samuddhṛtya ca bhasmanā

Translation

శిరస్సు నుండి పాదాల వరకు అవయవాలను శుద్ధి చేసి, ఆ (పవిత్ర భస్మ)తో వాటిని స్పర్శించాలి. తరువాత అదే క్రమంలో భస్మాన్ని తీసుకొని దశలవారీగా లేపనం/ధారణ చేయాలి.
