षडध्ववेदनम् (Ṣaḍadhva-vedanam) — The Sixfold Path: Sound, Meaning, and Tattva-Distribution
स विप्रलम्भकः शुद्धेर्नालम्प्रापयितुं फलम् । वृथा परिश्रमस्तस्य निरयायैव केवलम्
sa vipralambhakaḥ śuddhernālamprāpayituṃ phalam | vṛthā pariśramastasya nirayāyaiva kevalam
ఇలాంటి మోసగాడు అంతఃశుద్ధి ఫలాన్ని కలిగించలేడు. అతని శ్రమ వ్యర్థం; అది కేవలం నరకప్రాప్తికే దారి తీస్తుంది.

Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Bhairava
Cosmic Event: Ethical-cosmic consequence: false or deluded striving (vipralambha) yields no śuddhi and leads to naraka—karmic retribution within saṃsāra.
It warns that spiritual life without sincerity—marked by deceit and pretence—cannot yield śuddhi (inner purification). In Shaiva Siddhanta terms, such conduct strengthens pāśa (bondage) rather than moving the paśu (bound soul) toward Pati (Shiva).
Linga-worship is meant to cultivate devotion, truthfulness, and inner cleansing. If a person approaches Saguna Shiva with hypocrisy—seeking reputation or gain—the outer ritual becomes empty and fails to produce the intended purifying fruit.
The implied takeaway is sincerity in sadhana: perform japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namah Shivaya), apply Tripundra with right intent, and maintain truthful conduct—so that practice leads to śuddhi rather than mere show.
