tatpurāṇasya cotpattiṃ bruvato me nibodhata | aṃgāni vedāścatvāro mīmāṃsānyāyavistaraḥ

Translation

ఆ పురాణముని ఉద్భవాన్ని నేను వివరిస్తున్నాను; శ్రద్ధగా వినుడి. అది వేదాంగములు, నాలుగు వేదములు ఆధారముగా కలిగి, మీమాంసా-న్యాయ విస్తారమైన విచారణతో విస్తరించుచున్నది.
