(Hanūmat-prādurbhāvaḥ) — The Manifestation/Birth of Hanumān as Śiva’s Agency
iti te kathitaṃ tāta hanumaccaritamvaram | dhanyaṃ yaśasyamāyuṣyaṃ sarvakāmaphalapradam

The verse affirms the Shaiva Purana principle that śravaṇa (devotional listening) to a sacred narrative purifies the mind, increases auspiciousness, and supports dharma—ultimately aiding the soul’s journey toward Shiva’s grace and liberation.
By praising a devotee’s sacred story, the text promotes saguna-bhakti—devotion through names, forms, and narratives—which naturally culminates in reverence for Shiva’s manifest presence such as the Linga and in seeking Shiva’s anugraha (grace).
A practical takeaway is regular pāṭha/śravaṇa of the Hanumān-carita as a vrata-like discipline, ideally alongside Shiva-bhakti practices such as japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and worship with vibhūti (Tripuṇḍra) where customary.
