FAQs

It teaches that the directly manifest, transformative Śakti of Shiva (Śāmbhavī) is the power behind creation, sustenance, and dissolution; without recognizing Her, worldly “seeing” remains spiritually incomplete.

In Śaiva Siddhānta-oriented reading, Linga worship is worship of Pati (Shiva) together with His inseparable Śakti; the verse emphasizes that Shiva’s manifest grace and power are experienced through the Śāmbhavī form, making worship experiential (pratyakṣa), not merely conceptual.

Contemplate the fiery, luminous presence of Shiva-Śakti while japa of the Panchākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”), and reinforce devotion with Śaiva marks like Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) as a reminder of dissolution and inner purification.
