Manifestation of Śiva’s Saṃhāra-Form
नीयमानः परवशो दीनवक्त्रः कृताञ्जलिः । तुष्टाव परमेशानं हरिस्तं ललिताक्षरैः
nīyamānaḥ paravaśo dīnavaktraḥ kṛtāñjaliḥ | tuṣṭāva parameśānaṃ haristaṃ lalitākṣaraiḥ
తీసుకుపోబడుతూ, పరవశుడై దిగులుముఖంతో, కృతాంజలిగా హరి మృదువైన సుందరాక్షరాలతో ఆ పరమేశానుని స్తుతించాడు।
Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
Type: stotra
The verse highlights śaraṇāgati (surrender): even Hari, when rendered powerless by circumstance, turns inward to humility and praises Parameśvara—showing that grace arises when ego yields and devotion becomes sincere.
By praising Parameśāna with reverent speech and folded hands, the verse models Saguna-upāsanā—approaching Shiva as the personal Lord who responds to devotion, a mood central to Linga worship and stotra-based bhakti.
Practice namaskāra with añjali (folded hands) and recite a Shiva-stotra or the Pañcākṣarī mantra (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with soft, steady speech—cultivating humility and single-pointed remembrance of Shiva.
