स इत्थं निर्जितककुबेकराड् विषयान्प्रियान् । यथोपजोषं भुंजानो नातृप्यदजितेन्द्रियः

Transliteration

sa itthaṃ nirjitakakubekarāḍ viṣayānpriyān | yathopajoṣaṃ bhuṃjāno nātṛpyadajitendriyaḥ

Translation

ఇలా దిక్పాలాధిపతులను జయించి ప్రియమైన భోగవిషయాలను పొందినప్పటికీ, తన ఇష్టమొచ్చినట్లు వాటిని అనుభవించాడు; కానీ ఇంద్రియాలు జయించబడకపోవడంతో అతనికి ఎప్పుడూ తృప్తి కలగలేదు।
