वव्रे पतिं महात्मानं वसिष्ठं शंसितव्रतम् । पतिव्रता च मुख्याऽभूद्वंद्या पूज्या त्वभीषणा

vavre patiṃ mahātmānaṃ vasiṣṭhaṃ śaṃsitavratam | pativratā ca mukhyā'bhūdvaṃdyā pūjyā tvabhīṣaṇā

ఆమె ప్రశంసిత వ్రతములు గల మహాత్ముడు వసిష్ఠుని భర్తగా వరించింది. పతివ్రతలలో ఆమె ప్రధానురాలై, వందనీయురాలై పూజనీయురాలై, తపోబల ప్రభావంతో మహా తేజస్సుతో భయంకర ప్రతాపముగలదై నిలిచింది.
