ब्रह्मोवाच । द्विजवर्य शृणु प्रीत्या चरितं शशिमौलिनः । यत्पृच्छते कुर्वतश्च सर्वसंशयहारकम्
brahmovāca | dvijavarya śṛṇu prītyā caritaṃ śaśimaulinaḥ | yatpṛcchate kurvataśca sarvasaṃśayahārakam
బ్రహ్ముడు పలికెను—ఓ ద్విజశ్రేష్ఠా, భక్తి-ప్రీతితో శశిమౌళి పరమేశ్వరుని పవిత్ర చరిత్రను వినుము. నీవు అడిగినదానికీ, నీవు చేస్తున్న కర్మకూ సంబంధించిన సమస్త సందేహాలను ఇది తొలగిస్తుంది.
