व्योमवाणी-श्रवणं, गणानां शरणागमनं, सती-दाह-वृत्तान्तः — Hearing the Heavenly Voice; The Gaṇas Seek Refuge; Account of Satī’s Self-Immolation

दधीचिकृतमुल्लंघ्य शपथं मयि तत्र ये । तिष्ठंति ते प्रयत्नेन ज्वालनीयास्त्वया ध्रुवम्

dadhīcikṛtamullaṃghya śapathaṃ mayi tatra ye | tiṣṭhaṃti te prayatnena jvālanīyāstvayā dhruvam

అక్కడ దధీచి చేసిన వ్రత-శపథాన్ని అతిక్రమించి నాపై వైరం పట్టుకొని నిలిచినవారిని—నీ యత్నంతో నిశ్చయంగా దహింపవలెను (శిక్షింపవలెను)।
