विष्णोः स्तुतिः—शिवसतीरक्षावचनम्
Viṣṇu’s Hymn and the Petition for Śiva–Satī’s Protection
ब्रह्मोवाच । इति तस्य वचश्श्रुत्वा गिरीश स्याह चाच्युतः । स्मितप्रभिन्नहृदयः पुनर्मैवमितीरयन्
brahmovāca | iti tasya vacaśśrutvā girīśa syāha cācyutaḥ | smitaprabhinnahṛdayaḥ punarmaivamitīrayan
బ్రహ్ముడు పలికెను: ఆ మాటలు విని అవ్యయుడైన గిరీశుడు (శివుడు) మళ్లీ పలికెను. మృదుస్మితంతో ఆయన హృదయం ద్రవించి, “అలా కాదు; అలా పలుకకుము” అని చెప్పెను।
