Brahmā (narrating within the Rudrasaṁhitā context)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Umāpati
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: liberating
It highlights the sanctity of the vedikā (ritual altar) as a locus where the Divine Couple’s presence becomes manifest—showing that auspicious rites culminate in the revealed presence of Pati (Śiva) alongside Devī, approached with reverence and order.
The verse presents Śiva in an accessible, personal (saguṇa) mode—‘led’ to the sacred place—mirroring how devotees invite and install the Lord in worship (āvāhana and pratiṣṭhā), whether as Liṅga or as the personally adored Mahādeva.
It implies altar-centered worship: prepare a clean vedikā/maṇḍala, invoke the Lord with mantra (especially the Pañcākṣarī, “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”), and maintain reverent focus (bhāva) as the core discipline.
