The verse highlights Śiva’s universal lordship (Pati): in His sannidhi, even diverse orders of beings—devas, dānavas, nāgas, apsarās, and ṛṣis—are harmonized in shared auspicious joy, suggesting that Śiva’s presence dissolves hostility and elevates all toward grace.
“Śiva-sannidhi” points to tangible nearness—darśana and worship of Saguna Śiva (often through the Liṅga as His accessible form). The mood of mahotsava reflects how Liṅga-pūjā is not merely ritual, but a celebratory encounter with Śiva’s living presence and blessing.
Adopt an inner “mahotsava” attitude during worship: approach Śiva with joyful reverence, offer simple upacāras, and meditate with japa of the Pañcākṣarī—“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—as a direct way of entering Śiva’s sannidhi.
