It shows Śiva’s divine līlā where even the Lord’s ‘separation’ becomes a sacred movement of grace—prompting the summoning of realized sages to restore dharma and guide the unfolding of the Parvatī narrative.
Śambhu is presented as Saguna (personal, responsive) Shiva—who acts within time and relationship. For devotees, this supports bhakti to the Linga as the accessible form through which Shiva’s grace and guidance manifest.
The key takeaway is smaraṇa (remembrance): steady japa of the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” with inner recollection of Śiva as Pati (the Lord) helps stabilize the mind during agitation, like Śiva’s own focused remembrance here.
