Devas’ Hymn, Nandikeśvara’s Petition, and Śiva’s Rising from Samādhi
jāne'haṃ tārakādduḥkhaṃ sarveṣāṃ vassamutthitam | asurā ttaddhariṣyāmi satyaṃsatyaṃ vadāmyaham
Parvati
Tattva Level: pati
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: nurturing
The verse highlights divine compassion and satya (truth) as a mark of the Divine—Parvati assures devotees that suffering caused by adharmic forces will be removed through grace, restoring dharma and inner peace.
In Shaiva Siddhanta, the devotee approaches Saguna Shiva and Shakti for protection and upliftment; Parvati’s truthful vow reflects the accessible, compassionate aspect of the Divine that responds to bhakti and safeguards the cosmic order upheld by Shiva.
A practical takeaway is satya-vrata (truthful resolve) combined with devotional japa—especially the Panchakshara mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—seeking Shiva-Parvati’s grace to remove fear and obstacles created by negative forces.
