ब्रह्मोवाच । तेजोसारमिदं स्वर्गं राज्यं त्वं परिपासि नः । यदर्थं सुतपस्तप्तं वाञ्छसि त्वं ततोऽधिकम्

brahmovāca | tejosāramidaṃ svargaṃ rājyaṃ tvaṃ paripāsi naḥ | yadarthaṃ sutapastaptaṃ vāñchasi tvaṃ tato'dhikam

బ్రహ్ముడు పలికెను—ఈ స్వర్గం తేజస్సు యొక్క సారమే; మా రాజ్యాన్ని నీవు కాపాడుతున్నావు. ఏ ప్రయోజనార్థం నీవు ఘోర తపస్సు చేసితివి? ఈ స్వర్గానికన్నా గొప్పదేదైనా కోరుచున్నావా?
