प्रकृतितत्त्व-विचारः / Inquiry into Prakṛti (Nature/Śakti) and Śiva’s Transcendence
यदैवैषा तपश्चर्याव्रतं काली करिष्यति । तदा च तां ग्रहीष्यामि गर्वबीजविवर्जिताम्
yadaivaiṣā tapaścaryāvrataṃ kālī kariṣyati | tadā ca tāṃ grahīṣyāmi garvabījavivarjitām
ఈ కాళీ (పార్వతి) తపస్సు వ్రతాన్ని ఆచరించినప్పుడు, అప్పుడు నేను ఆమెను—గర్వబీజం లేని—స్వీకరిస్తాను।
Lord Shiva

The verse teaches that true union with Shiva (grace and fulfillment) arises when austerity is joined with inner purification—especially the uprooting of pride, a key form of bondage that blocks divine grace in Shaiva thought.
It supports Saguna Shiva devotion as a transformative relationship: worship and vows are not merely external acts, but disciplines that soften ego and cultivate surrender, making the devotee fit to receive Shiva’s grace—symbolized in Linga-worship as steadfast presence and purification.
Undertake a vrata with tapas (self-discipline), paired with japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and daily self-examination to remove garva (pride); simple supports like vibhūti (Tripuṇḍra) and Rudrākṣa may be used as reminders of humility and Shiva-bhakti.
