देवदैत्यसामान्ययुद्धवर्णनम् — Description of the General Battle Between Devas and Daityas
एवमन्योन्यमसुरो विष्णुश्च बलवानुभौ । युयुधाते रणे भूरि तत्राक्षतबलौ मुने
evamanyonyamasuro viṣṇuśca balavānubhau | yuyudhāte raṇe bhūri tatrākṣatabalau mune
ఇలా అసురుడూ విష్ణువూ—ఇద్దరూ బలవంతులు—ఆ మహారణంలో మళ్లీ మళ్లీ పరస్పరం యుద్ధం చేసిరి. ఓ మునీ, అక్కడ వారి బలం అక్షతంగా ఉండి, దీర్ఘకాలం ఘోర సంగ్రామం సాగింది.
