Devī’s Wrath and the Manifestation of the Śaktis
praṇamya vacanaṃ procurbhavaduktaṃ kṛtaṃ ca naḥ | anaṃtaraṃ ca tatkāryaṃ bhavatādbhavaśeṣitam
Devas (divine beings), addressing Lord Shiva (Bhava)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
Type: stotra
Role: teaching
It highlights śaraṇāgati (surrender): even after doing their part, the devas acknowledge that the final fulfillment depends on Bhava (Shiva), pointing to Shiva’s anugraha (grace) as the decisive power.
The verse reflects Saguna devotion—approaching Shiva as Bhava, the personal Lord who receives homage and completes what devotees cannot, mirroring how Linga-worship offers actions and results to Shiva for sanctification.
Offer the fruits of all actions to Shiva with reverence—mentally bow, recite the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), and conclude worship by praying that Shiva completes what remains and removes obstacles.
