रावणस्य तपः-शिवानुग्रहः — Rāvaṇa’s Austerity and Śiva’s Bestowal of Grace

प्रत्यक्षं तं तदा दृष्ट्वा प्रतिष्ठाप्य च ते सुराः । वैद्यनाथेति संप्रोच्य नत्वा नुत्वा दिवं ययुः

pratyakṣaṃ taṃ tadā dṛṣṭvā pratiṣṭhāpya ca te surāḥ | vaidyanātheti saṃprocya natvā nutvā divaṃ yayuḥ

అప్పుడు ఆయనను ప్రత్యక్షంగా దర్శించి దేవులు విధివిధానంగా అక్కడే ఆయనను ప్రతిష్ఠించారు. “ఇయనే వైద్యనాథుడు” అని ప్రకటించి నమస్కరించి స్తుతించి అనంతరం స్వర్గానికి వెళ్లారు.

Significance: Darśana and worship of the Jyotirliṅga famed as the ‘Lord as Divine Physician’—bestowing roga-śānti, pāpa-kṣaya, and śiva-anugraha through direct contact with the manifested Liṅga.
