నేను ఆ అగ్నినే ‘వసు’గా భావిస్తున్నాను; ఆయన గృహానికే ధేనువులు వెళ్తాయి, ఆయన గృహానికే వేగవంతమైన అశ్వాలూ వెళ్తాయి. హే నిత్య-ఉపస్థితుడా, వాజ (బల) దాతా! స్తోతృులకు అన్నమూ ఇష్ (పోషక రసం/ప్రేరణ) ను తీసుకురా.

अग्निर्हि वाजिनं विशे ददाति विश्वचर्षणिः अग्नी राये स्वाभुवं स प्रीतो याति वार्यमिषं स्तोतृभ्य आ भर
ఎందుకంటే అగ్నియే విశ్వచర్షణి (సర్వజన-వ్యాపి)గా ప్రజలకు వాజ (బల)ాన్ని ఇస్తాడు. అగ్ని ధనార్థం స్వాభువ (స్వయంసిద్ధ)గా ఉండి, ప్రసన్నుడైతే ఉత్తమ వరాన్ని ప్రసాదిస్తాడు. స్తోతృులకు అన్నమూ ఇష్ ను తీసుకురా.
