अपामिवेदूर्मयस्तर्त्तुराणाः प्र मनीषा ईरते सोममच्छ नमस्यन्तीरुप च यन्ति सं चाच विशन्त्युशतीरुशन्तम्

నీటి తరంగాలు వేగంగా పరుగెత్తినట్లే, మనీషాలు (స్తోత్రధారలు) లేచి సోముని వైపు సాగుతాయి. నమస్కరిస్తూ అవి దగ్గరకు వస్తాయి; కలిసి ప్రవేశించి, ఆతురతతో, కోరుకున్న—ఆ ప్రియ సోముని—అన్వేషిస్తాయి.
