Transliteration
sam-ídhā jā́ta-vedase devā́ya deva-hū́tibhiḥ | havír-bhiḥ śukrá-śociṣe namasvíno vayáṃ dāśemā́gnaye ||
Translation
సమిధా (ఇంధనం)తో మేము జాతవేదస్—దేవుని—సేవిస్తాము; దేవులను ఆహ్వానించే దేవహూతి-పిలుపులతో. హవులతో శుక్రశోచిష్ (ప్రకాశించే జ్వాల) గలవానికి మేము అర్పిస్తాము. నమస్వినులమై మేము అగ్నికి మా దాన-హవిర్దానాన్ని సమర్పిద్దాం.
