एवाँ अग्निं वसूयवः सहसानं ववन्दिम । स नो विश्वा अति द्विषः पर्षन्नावेव सुक्रतुः ॥
Transliteration
evā́ṃ agníṃ vasū-yávaḥ sahasā́naṃ vavandima | sá no víśvā ati dvíṣaḥ párṣan nā́vāiva su-krátuḥ ||
Translation
ఇలా మేము, వసూయవః (సత్య సంపదను కోరువారు), సహసాన (పరాక్రమశాలి) అగ్నిని వందిస్తాము. సుక్రతు (శుభసంకల్పం/సద్బుద్ధి) గల ఆయన, నావ వలె, మమ్మల్ని సమస్త ద్విషః (ద్వేషాలు మరియు శత్రుబలాలు) దాటి తరింపజేయుగాక.
