न तं विदाथ य इमा जजानान्यद्युष्माकमन्तरं बभूव । नीहारेण प्रावृता जल्प्या चासुतृप उक्थशासश्चरन्ति ॥
ná táṃ vidātha yá imā́ jajā́nānyád yuṣmā́kam ántaraṃ babhūva | nīhāréṇa prā́vṛtā jálpyā cāsutṛ́pa ukthaśā́sāś caranti ||
ఇవన్నీ జన్మింపజేసినవానిని మీరు ఎరుగరు; మీ మధ్యలో మరొకడు మధ్యవర్తిగా వచ్చి నిలిచాడు. మబ్బుతో కప్పబడి, వ్యర్థ వాక్యాలలో చిక్కుకొని, తృప్తిలేని ఉక్థ-శంసకులు (స్తోత్రపాఠకులు) సంచరిస్తారు—సారరసాన్ని నిజంగా పానంచేయకుండానే స్తోత్రాలను ప్రకటిస్తారు.
