Sukta 10.37
शं नो भव चक्षसा शं नो अह्ना शं भानुना शं हिमा शं घृणेन । यथा शमध्वञ्छमसद्दुरोणे तत्सूर्य द्रविणं धेहि चित्रम् ॥
śáṃ no bhava cákṣasā śáṃ no ahnā́ śáṃ bhānúnā śáṃ himā́ śáṃ ghṛṇéna | yáthā śám adhváñ chám ásad duróṇe tát sūrya dráviṇaṃ dhehi citrám ||
మాకు నీ చూపుతో శాంతి కలుగుగాక; మాకు దినంతో శాంతి కలుగుగాక; నీ కిరణంతో శాంతి కలుగుగాక; శీతంతో శాంతి కలుగుగాక; నీ ఘృణి (ఉష్ణ తేజస్సు/దీప్తి)తో శాంతి కలుగుగాక. యాత్రలో శాంతి, గృహంలో శాంతి ఉండునట్లు—హే సూర్యా! చిత్రమైన (బహువిధ) ద్రవిణం (ధనం/సంపద) మా లో నిలుపు.
