Sukta 10.17
द्रप्सश्चस्कन्द प्रथमाँ अनु द्यूनिमं च योनिमनु यश्च पूर्वः । समानं योनिमनु संचरन्तं द्रप्सं जुहोम्यनु सप्त होत्राः ॥
drapsáś cáskanda prathamā́m ánu dyū́n imáṃ ca yónim ánu yáś ca pū́rvaḥ | samānáṃ yónim ánu saṃcárantaṃ drapsáṃ juhómy ánu saptá hótrāḥ ||
‘ద్రప్స’ (బిందువు) దూకి వెలువడింది—ప్రథమ దినాలను అనుసరించి, ఈ యోని (ఉత్పత్తి-ఆధారం) ను అనుసరించి, అలాగే పూర్వంగా ఉన్నదాన్నీ అనుసరించి. అదే సమాన యోనిని అనుసరించి సంచరించే ఆ ద్రప్సను నేను జుహోమి చేస్తాను—సప్త హోత్రా (హోతృ-శక్తులు) అనుగమనంతో.
