Transliteration
asṛ́gram indra te gíraḥ práti tvām úd ahāsata | ájoṣā vṛṣabháṃ pátim ||
Translation
హే ఇంద్రా, మా ప్రేరిత ‘గిరః’ (వాణి) నీ వైపు ఉప్పొంగి ప్రవహించి పైకి లేచింది—నిన్ను, వృషభాన్ని, పతిని, జయించుటకు. (ఇది) మనలో స్వీకరించి ఆత్మ-బలాన్ని పెంపొందించే ఆ అధిపత్య-శక్తి.
