Sukta 1.52
अभि स्ववृष्टिं मदे अस्य युध्यतो रघ्वीरिव प्रवणे सस्रुरूतयः । इन्द्रो यद्वज्री धृषमाणो अन्धसा भिनद्वलस्य परिधीँरिव त्रितः ॥
abhí svavṛ́ṣṭiṃ máde asya yúdhyato raghvī́r iva praváṇe sasrur ūtáyaḥ | índro yád vajrī́ dhṛṣámāṇo ándhasā bhínad válasya paridhī́ṃr iva tritáḥ ||
అతని స్వంత వర్షధార వైపు—సోమమదంలో యుద్ధం చేస్తున్న అతనికి—సహాయాలు వాలుదారిలో వేగంగా పారే ప్రవాహాల్లా పరుగెత్తాయి. వజ్రధారి ఇంద్రుడు, అంధస్ (సోమరసం) ఆనందంలో ధైర్యంగా, వలుని పరిధి-ఆవరణాలను వలయాలను విరిచినట్లుగా చీల్చినప్పుడు—దాగి ఉన్న సమృద్ధులు, పరిపూర్ణతలు తెరచుకున్నాయి.
