यद्देवानां मित्रमहः पुरोहितोऽन्तरो यासि दूत्यम् । सिन्धोरिव प्रस्वनितास ऊर्मयोऽग्नेर्भ्राजन्ते अर्चयः ॥
Transliteration
yád devā́nāṃ mitra-mahaḥ puró-hito’ntáro yā́si dū́tyam | síndhor iva prá-svanitāsa ū́rmayo’gnér bhrā́jante arcáyaḥ ||
Translation
దేవుల మిత్రా, మహిమావంతుడైన పురోహితా! నీవు వారి మధ్య దూత్యకార్యంగా (మధ్యస్థతగా) సంచరిస్తే, అప్పుడు అగ్నியின் అర్చయః—నదியின் గట్టిగా మ్రోగే ఊర్ములు (తరంగాలు) వలె—దీప్తిగా ప్రకాశిస్తాయి.
