हिङ्कृण्वती वसुपत्नी वसूनां वत्समिच्छन्ती मनसाभ्यागात् । दुहामश्विभ्यां पयो अघ्न्येयं सा वर्धतां महते सौभगाय ॥

Transliteration

hiṅkṛṇvatī́ vasupátnī vasū́nāṃ vatsám icchántī mánasābhy ā́gāt | duhā́m aśvíbhyāṃ páyo aghnyéyaṃ sā́ vardhatāṃ mahaté saúbhagāya ||

Translation

‘హింగ్’ అని మ్రోగుతూ, వసువుల వసు-పత్నీ, ధననిధుల అధిష్ఠాత్రి, మనసుతో తన వత్సాన్ని కోరుతూ సమీపానికి వచ్చింది. ఈ అఘ్న్యా ధేను అశ్వినుల కొరకు పయః (పాలు) దోహిస్తుంది; ఆమె మహత్తర సౌభాగ్యానికి వృద్ధి చెందుగాక.
