चरित्रं हि वेरिवाच्छेदि पर्णमाजा खेलस्य परितक्म्यायाम् । सद्यो जङ्घामायसीं विश्पलायै धने हिते सर्तवे प्रत्यधत्तम् ॥

Transliteration

carítraṃ hí vér ivā́c chedi párṇam ā́jā khélasya pári-takmyāyām | sadyó jaṅghā́m ā́yasīṃ viśpálāyai dháne hité sártave práty adhattam ||

Translation

ఖేళస్య పరితక్మ్య (చక్రాకార) పోటీలో, పక్షి రెక్కలా గతి తెగిపోయినప్పుడు, మీరు—హే అశ్వినౌ—ధనార్థం నియతమైన పరుగులో మళ్లీ పరుగెత్తుటకు, విశ్పలాయై తక్షణమే ఇనుప జంఘ (కాలు)ను స్థాపించారు.
