Rāvaṇa’s Assault on Nīla and Lakṣmaṇa; Hanumān Bears Rāma
अथैवमुपसङ्गम्यहनूमान्वाक्यमब्रवीत् ।।6.59.124।।ममपृष्ठंसमारुह्यराक्षसंशास्तुमर्हसि ।विष्णुर्यथागरुत्मन्तंबलवन्तंसमाहितः ।।6.59.125।।
athaivam upasaṅgamya hanūmān vākyam abravīt |
mama pṛṣṭhaṃ samāruhya rākṣasaṃ śāstum arhasi |
viṣṇur yathā garutmantaṃ balavantaṃ samāhitaḥ ||6.59.124-125||
అప్పుడు హనుమంతుడు సమీపించి ఇలా పలికెను— “నా వెన్నుపై ఎక్కి ఆ రాక్షసుని శిక్షించవలెను; సమాహితుడైన విష్ణువు బలవంతుడైన గరుడుని ఎక్కినట్లు।”
And then Hanuman submitted to Rama, "Just as Lord Vishnu mounted on mighty Garuda, you should also be mounted on my back and subdue Ravana."
Dharma is cooperative service: Hanumān offers his strength in devotion so that righteous authority (Rāma) can act effectively for the common good.
Hanumān proposes that Rāma ride on his back to approach and subdue Rāvaṇa, likening it to Viṣṇu riding Garuḍa.
