Rama–Sugriva Alliance and Fire-Rite of Friendship

ततस्सुपर्णबहुलां छित्वा शाखां सुपुष्पिताम्4.5.19।।सालस्यास्तीर्य सुग्रीवो निषसाद सराघवः।

tatas suparṇa-bahulāṁ chitvā śākhāṁ supuṣpitām || 4.5.19 ||

sālasya āstīrya sugrīvo niṣasāda sa-rāghavaḥ |

అనంతరం సుగ్రీవుడు ఆకులతో ఘనంగా, పుష్పాలతో వికసించిన శాలవృక్షశాఖను కోసి, దానిని పరచి రాఘవునితో కలిసి కూర్చున్నాడు.
