किष्किन्धाप्रवेशः—लक्ष्मणस्य कोपः, तारासान्त्वम्, सुग्रीवदर्शनम्

तच्चापि जानामि यथविषह्यंबलं नरश्रेष्ठ शरीरजस्य।जानामि यस्मिंश्च जनेऽवबद्धंकामेन सुग्रीवमसक्तमद्य।।।।

taccāpi jānāmi yathāviṣahyaṃ balaṃ naraśreṣṭha śarīrajasya | jānāmi yasmiṃś ca jane 'vabaddhaṃ kāmena sugrīvam asaktam adya ||

హే నరశ్రేష్ఠా! శరీరజన్యమైన కామబలం ఎంత అజేయమో అది కూడా నాకు తెలుసు. సుగ్రీవుడు ఈనాడు ఎవరో ఒకరిపై కామబంధంతో ఆసక్తుడై, తన ప్రతిజ్ఞలో శిథిలుడైనాడని నేను ఎరుగుదును॥
